South Florida October STEM Saturday

OIC of America invites K-8 students and their families to South Florida STEM Saturday: October at Herbert Sadkin Community Center! Participation is FREE.

Elementary and middle school students will have opportunities to connect to knowledge and skills in science, technology, engineering and math through interactive, hands-on activities, including:

• Design and build bridge models, applying engineering principles to test strength and performance.
• Explore how different bridge types and geometric shapes impact structural integrity and weight distribution.
• Investigate the design process through hands-on experiments, testing and improving bridge strength.
