Some of Edinburgh’s most talented young musicians will battle for the honour to be named winner of the inaugural South Edinburgh Battle of the Bands, which will feature ten acts from a host of high schools across Scotland’s Capital city.An open invitation was extended by organisers Pentland Community Centre to schools in and around the centre’s service area in the south-west of the city, with dozens of pupils responding to the call.
