Join the NC Cooperative Extension for a deep dive into the business and beauty of cut flowers. This module provides the practical, science-based foundation needed to grow, harvest, and sell high-quality specialty cut flowers in the Sandhills and Central North Carolina region.

• Variety Selection: Discover which annuals, perennials, and woodies thrive in the NC climate.
• Production Fundamentals: Master the basics of site selection, soil preparation, planting schedules, and essential support systems like trellising.
• Harvest & Post-Harvest Care: Learn the exact stage of development to harvest each species and the professional handling techniques required to maximize vase life.
