The SC Ag Council is a non-profit organization dedicated to the promotion, expansion, improvement and enhancement of South Carolina agriculture and its related businesses and to a better understanding and support from the citizens of the state.
The SC Ag Council hosts quarterly meetings throughout the year which provide important information of interest to members regarding agriculture and forestry in the state. The Council also offers tours and other programs to increase the visibility of South Carolina agribusiness.
Each quarterly meeting is $25 and includes a catered lunch. The cost of catering good lunches has risen. It’s been several years since we increased the cost of the quarterly meetings. However, if you join the Ag Council by prepaying for the four quarterly meetings, the total cost of the registration fee for all four quarterly meetings will be $75.00. Prepaying gets you four lunches for the price of three!
Membership in the SC Ag Council includes representatives of organizations and agencies serving agriculture as well as other individuals from all walks of life. All that is required is a genuine interest in improving and expanding the influence of agriculture, insuring its healthy survival and promoting better understanding and harmony between the agricultural community and the rest of society.
