Summit the South of the Island's highest peak in the dark!Put your trust in your guide to navigate you to the summit of South Barrule, via South Barrule Plantation.
Sunday 17th November has been chosen with the maximum light from the full moon and will give a different perspective with the views by moonlight of the south of the island and beyond!
Starting at 7pm from the car park at South Barrule Forest Park (near the coffee Cottage) we make our way on foot through the darkness of South Barrule Plantation eventually finding our way to the top of South Barrule and returning via a different route, a total distance of approx. 6 miles (10 km) and taking approx. 3 hrs.
The route will be over plantation tracks and open moorland, you will require sturdy walking boots or shoes, headtorch (any touch will suffice but not a mobile phone torch, but we have plenty you can borrow), warm clothing to suit the weather, a snack and hot chocolate (included) will be provided for the summit.

Each walk will be limited to 12 people and cost is £12pp - payable in advance through our booking system.
