About this Event

Officially opened in 1992, South Bank Parklands celebrated its 30th anniversary in 2022.

Join one of our volunteer guides on this free 90-minute guided tour of the highlights of South Bank Parklands.

As you journey along the pathways together, your guide will share behind-the-scenes stories about the parkland’s fascinating evolution and design. Showcasing the highlights, you will also hear about the maritime history of the area, the incredible transformation of the parkland after Expo ‘88, and how the parklands have survived recent flood events, with plenty of photo opportunities along the way!
