South Asian Women's Picnic!

WHERE TO MEET: Meet at The Terrace cafe in The Royal Botanical Gardens.

PLEASE NOTE: the event will be cancelled if there is rain! We love Melbourne, but you know how it goes sometimes...it is what it is.

What to bring: Something to sit on and good vibes. We'll bring the snacks and games!

If you identify as a South Asian woman, then this one’s for you! We're building a community that you can lean on and in which you can explore your experiences as a South Asian woman in a safe environment.

This is NOT therapy. It is a peer led and run community support group.

We meet on the last Sundays or Saturday morning of every month (alternating)! The intention is for this space to help us reconnect with our South Asian communities, come together, listen, validate and learn from each others' lived experiences; in a ZERO judgement, cozy environment. There are no age limits as we celebrate the importance of having different perspectives in our discussions. So, feel free to bring a friend or a family member - the more the merrier.

Meet-ups are free! We just ask that each individual registers ASAP so we can prepare.

And don't worry, we have planned activities to help with the awkwardness of meeting new people! Hope to see you all there!
