Join us for a day-long celebration that honours South Asian culture in two unique ways!
First: Celebrate International Women’s Day (IWD) by showcasing vibrant South Asian marketplace stalls—from sewing and handmade clothing to exquisite jewelry and authentic South Asian food.
Second: Immerse yourself in the colourful spirit of Holi Festival—a celebration of Colours, Love, and Spring that marks the triumph of good over evil and honours the divine love of Radha and Krishna.

International Women’s Day Celebration:
Showcase Culture: Enjoy a lively marketplace where South Asians display their cultural heritage through art, crafts, food, and more.
Engage & Reflect: Participate in interactive activities like writing a message or pledge on our IWD canvas.
Holi Festival Celebration:
Celebrate Tradition: Experience the joy of Holi, a festival celebrated across Nepal and India as a symbol of love, renewal, and the victory of good over evil.
Interactive Festivities: Enjoy live music, dynamic activities, and, of course, the playful throwing of colours.

12:45pm - Guests arrive and sign in at Function Hall, Tudor Park
13:00pm - Networking & Marketplace Visits. Explore the South Asian marketplace stalls. Visit the IWD Canvas Corner to write a message or a pledge.
13:30pm - Welcome from CEO. Overview of the event agenda. Highlights of The Gurkha Centre’s year. Raffle Competition announcement. Thank you speech.
13:45pm - Icebreaker. Human Bingo (15 mins) A fun activity to break the ice and foster connections among guests.
14:00pm - Panel Q&A (30 mins) A panel of guests share their experiences on societal challenges and biases.
14:30pm - AccelerateAction Activity (15 mins) An interactive activity to inspire action and engagement.
14:45pm - Close & Thank You by CEO. Final words of appreciation to panel speakers and guests.
15:00-15:30pm - Break (30 mins) Time for refreshments, restroom break, and a change of clothes before the next segment.
15:30pm - Welcome to Holi Festival. Introduction by CEO on why The Gurkha Centre is celebrating Holi. Overview of the Holi agenda, color stations, and facilities.
15:45pm - Playing Holi! Let the celebration begin! Guests start playing with colors as they immerse in the festive spirit.
16:30pm - Holi Concludes. Thank you note from CEO marking the end of the Holi play session.
16:45pm - Raffle Announcement & Food Exciting raffle results followed by a delicious food offering.
17:00pm - Concert Time. Enjoy live concert music from Arko Mukharjee and friends while savouring your dinner.
18:50pm - Closing & Goodbyes. Final remarks and farewells.
19:00pm Clearance. Event concludes – guests depart.
