Thanksgiving is around the corner! And that means family holidays and LOTS of baking for loved ones. Are you ready to finally take the plunge into sourdough and all of its benefits? Be ready to serve sourdough bread at your family gathering's this fall and come get your hands doughy! Our events typically sell out quick so don't wait. Limited tickets available.
The Drip and Laura at Chiliwist & Raw are partnering to bring you a Sourdough For Beginners hands-on and in-person Sip & Bake event located at the Drip located in Moses Lake, WA. Laura, owner of Chiliwist Bakes, a WSDA certified commercial sourdough bakery and instructor at Chiliwist & Raw, will teach you all you need to know to bake an artisan sourdough boule from start to finish. You will gain the knowledge and first-hand skills on how to mix and strengthen your dough, bulk fermentation, proofing, scoring and baking as well as how to maintain a sourdough starter! You'll have the option to purchase a handcrafted coffee or drink of your choice to sip on as you learn sourdough with hands-on methods and take notes in your provided notebook.
Attendees will take home their very own starter PLUS the dough that they mix and the pre-fermented boule that is ready to bake.
You'll be able to learn how to bake sourdough with confidence and ask all the questions you've been burning to ask when it comes to sourdough!
Come have a fun and educational evening with us while we sip on coffee (water is also available), enjoy gut-friendly sourdough, and learn a useful (and fun!) skill that your health and tastebuds will benefit from.
Tickets are $99 and are non-refundable.
