We are going full Americana for July, so think burgers, hot dogs, all the mayo based salads, watermelon... whatever screams American BBQ.

I'll be manning the grill so meats and veggies can get cooked here 💓

FAQs

What should I bring? Bring a beverage for yourself and/or a bottle of wine to share. Bring your socks or slippers (this is a no shoes in the house home). Feel free to do a deep dive on Pinterest for some amazing recipe ideas or let the host set you up with a recipe or side to bring. Got something you really want to make? Just PM the host and let her know!

What if I have food allergies? We just ask that you pm the host and let them know. Most food allergies can be accommodated easily enough if we know ahead of time.

What's the vibe? Calm and accepting, we are here to be authentic so come in a way that makes you comfortable. Feeling overwhelmed or over stimulated? We've got a quite room you can decompress in! We got you Soupy!

WHO ARE WE? A women-only group comprised (mostly) of fabulous #squadbettie members who dig gathering IRL, intentionally seeking authentic connection and friendship.

WHY WE GATHER? We gather because it’s harder now than ever before, to truly connect in this virtual world we all live in. We truly believe there’s magic when we take up physical space together and have shared experiences. We gather because we’re hungry for greater depth and vulnerability in our friendships.

WE’RE INTENTIONAL ABOUT:AUTHENTICITY - We show up as our authentic selves and invite you to come EXACTLY as you are. Bed hair don’t care. Zero judgement.

REMAINING THOUGHTFULLY SMALL SO WE CAN CONNECT IN BIG WAYS - In the spirit of creating a space for thoughtful connection, we are intentional about our group size. This includes 15 guests at each event so everyone has a chance to be heard and seen.

CURIOSITY - We are curious minds / hearts and while small talk can be fun, we desire to dive deeper. We love asking questions and really caring about the answers.

VULNERABILITY – We view vulnerability as a “Souperpower” (yep, I like Soup puns!) and we are intentional in carving out a safe space for it to thrive.

CELEBRATION - We actively look for ways to celebrate and support one another!CONNECTION – We meet monthly, but wholeheartedly encourage connection outside this gathering! Be brave - swap numbers, have adventures together out in the world! Always know that shared group invites are welcomed and encouraged in this space!

CONSENT – While we are a collective of women, we are intentional in practicing consent. We are mindful and don’t assume that everyone is “hug / touch friendly”. We honor and celebrate that everyone is wired differently when it comes to physical touch. We don’t pressure anyone to discuss or share something they’re not comfortable with. We respect one another’s boundaries by practicing this.
