The Sounds of West Texas will be presenting the February "Love Songs Show" on the 22nd, beginning at 7:00 p.m. This show will feature local talent performing some of the most beautiful love songs ever written. Trey Morgan, preacher at Sunset Church of Christ, will be the emcee for the evening, He and his wife, Lea do marriage conferences and workshops all over the country and together they will be giving great tips about love and relationships. This is something that has never been on the Sounds of West Texas show before. This is a show for the whole family to enjoy together. Bring your best friends, your sweetheart, your family, or all of the above and come and have a great evening out at the wonderful Cactus Theater!
You will hear great love songs such as “I Will Always Love You,” “Til the Rivers All Run Dry,” “Let Me Down Easy,” “You Needed Me,” “Best of My Love,” “Harvest Moon,” “Could I Have This Dance,” “Drift Off to Dream,” “Last Date,” “Texas Two Step,” “Something's Got a Hold On Me,” “He Stopped Loving Her Today,” and many more fabulous love songs.Featured performers will be: Gage Brockman, Tara Friers, Hadlie Jo, Wyatt Kenney, Brenda Hopkins, Mike Huffman, Donnetta Lippe, Donnie Martin, Jeff McCreight, John Reid, Betty Smith, Brent Smith, Dakota Tauferner, Mark Wallney, Steve Williams and Erin Wolff. Each song will be beautifully delivered by these outstanding singers and musicians! This is the only show in town that performs fun jingles to advertise the sponsors and is enjoyable for the audience. There are also door prizes (donated by local businesses) given away just before the show at 6:50, and then again, after intermission.
The doors will open between 6:15 and 6:30.
Tickets can be purchased online at: cactustheater.com or call the box office at (806) 762-3233 Tuesday-Friday from 3:00-5:30 pm in the afternoon and reserve tickets by telephone. Tickets also may be purchased at the door the evening of the show. Tickets are $25 for all floor seats and most balcony seats, $50 for the box seats in the balcony - with concessions included for those limited box seats. You don't want to miss this evening of great music, fun, and door prizes!
