The Sounds of Summer and Cruise Night events have been extended due to the rain showers this season. We encourage everyone to pack a picnic or plan to purchase dinner from one of our fantastic food vendors and some lawn chairs for an evening of FREE outdoor music and cool cars!The VFW #2149 is celebrating its 90th Anniversary. The City is including the event as a significant milestone in the Sounds of Summer & Cruise Night car show, featuring Rocks Off and local band The Shades. The VFW will host a Flag presentation at 5 p.m.
The Shades begin at 5:30 p.m., and Rocks Off starts at 7 p.m. Show your pride by wearing red, white, and blue!
This event was initially scheduled for July 25 but had to be rescheduled due to the weather forecast.
Outside coolers are welcome. Must be 21 or older to purchase or consume alcohol. ⭐️🐕🚫Please leave dogs at home.
Events are held at Commercial Street and Wood Dale Road.
