About this Event

You can already be a Magnum Band fan, but if you're new to their music you can still simply sit back and savor the stunning sound you'll hear. Come and indulge in one of the more widely performed Haitian band with classical konpa tunes that will keep you on your feet.

Celebrating their 45th Anniversary, this is a celebration you don't want to miss!

Better known as the "old school konpa band", Magnum band became known for playing in various clubs in Queens and Brooklyn thanks to the substantial Haitian community there. In 1980, they made their first international tour. In 1996, they performed at the 1996 Summer Olympics opening ceremony in Atlanta.

Sounds of Little Haiti is an event that hosts a fun, family-friendly cultural activity every third Friday of the month at the Little Haiti Cultural Complex (LHCC).

Music starts at 7 pm which includes live bands, DJ, food and drinks.
