Experience a rare pairing of global virtuosity as Duo Mantar and Yamandu Costa share the Courthouse stage for an evening of electrifying plucked-string artistry.
Formed by American guitarist Adam Levin and Israeli mandolinist Jacob Reuven, Duo Mantar is redefining the mandolin-guitar duo with genre-bending interpretations of Israeli music, Jewish songs, and contemporary works. Their expressive synergy and adventurous programming have earned them international acclaim—and their 2021 album Music from the Promised Land topped the Billboard Classical chart.
They are joined by Brazilian guitar legend Yamandu Costa, whose passionate command of the 7-string guitar spans choro, samba, tango, and Brazilian folk. A Latin Grammy winner and global sensation, Costa’s improvisational brilliance and emotive power make him one of the world’s most captivating guitarists.
This concert is a celebration of tradition, innovation, and the unifying voice of music across cultures.
