Spiral Light Sound & Meditation Center presents:
Sounds for the Solstice - A Sound Healing Ceremony with Crystal Bowls and Gongs featuring Jere Friedman and Kate Fotopoulos
There's a special stillness on the longest night of the year. It's the time when the light of the sun is rekindled -- both outside and inside of us. Jere will lead you in a bit of meditation, movement, and chanting, and Kate will give an overview of the 2024 Winter Solstice astrology. Then, Kate and Jere will offer a soundscape of crystal singing bowls, gongs, and other vibrational instruments designed to take you on a sound journey where you can tap into your intentions for the coming year. Join us as we celebrate the return of light.
WHEN: Saturday, December 21, 2024 from 7:00 - 9:00 pm
WHERE: Spiral Light Sound & Meditation Center in the Redlands area of Grand Junction. Address provided upon registration.
- Doors open at 6:30. Please arrive before 7:00 to visit with friends (some old, some new), experience standing in the big Tibetan grounding bowl, and get settled. The program will begin promptly at 7:00.
- Feel free to stay afterwards for herbal tea and great conversation.
WEAR: Dress in layers and wear loose, comfortable clothing. As a courtesy to others, please refrain from wearing perfume, cologne, scented body lotion, or other body fragrances.
BRING: A yoga mat or pad, blankets, pillows or cushion, and eye pillow or eye mask, as you will be sitting and lying on the floor. (Chairs are also available for sitting if you are unable to sit and lie on the floor.)
