🎼 The Music Experience:
Mehfil-e-Sur features Runaa Rizvii Shivamani & Fankaar - a rare ensemble weaving a journey that shifts seamlessly between forms. Runaa Rizvii, daughter of Ghazal maestro Ustad Rajkumar Rizvi and trained in the Kalavant Gharana, has performed with legends from Jagjit Singh to AR Rahman.
A versatile voice across Sufi ghazal, classical and fusion, she brings both heritage and contemporary spirit to the stage. From the evocative verses of ghazals to the spiritual resonance of kalaams and the celebratory energy of contemporary folk-fusion, every note promises to move, uplift and connect.
🍴 The Culinary Experience:
While the music takes centre stage, the night would be incomplete without a feast to match its spirit. In collaboration with Gallops, headed by Chef Yajush, the evening includes a crafted culinary experience inspired by India’s royal kitchens. - a symphony of flavours where smoky kebabs melt in your mouth, fragrant pulao (with rich Nihari or Tehri Pulao if you are vegetarian) invite indulgence and let the live counters tempt you with warm desserts to sweetly close the night. It’s an experience designed not just to satisfy hunger but to honour the splendour of Darbaar itself.
🍹 The Cocktail Experience:
A fully curated bar featuring Stranger & Sons Gin and Otherside Whiskey cocktails available through the evening. The menu celebrates India’s homegrown spirits with signature drinks such as the Perry Road Highball Peru-infused refreshment, and the Otherside Whiskey Sour — a bold classic with an Indian soul.
