Soundembodiment: Tibetan Bowl & Gong Sound Meditation

Looking forward to returning once again to one of my favorite venues in the Front Range -- the historic Empire Grange!
This is one of the oldest buildings in Fort Collins (built in 1912 as a recreation center for the, then, local farming community!) & it still has its original wooden floorboards, along w/ 20 ft high ceilings, AND is located on the outskirts of town, which means = incredible acoustics (aka an optimal structure/location to practice sound meditation) and about as close as one can get to having a perfectly quiet environment to experience these exquisite sounds in!
Can't wait to share the next practice of "embodying soundness" with you back at Empire Grange on May 19th!!
------------------------------------------
Event Description:
In this special ALL levels event you will be guided through a series of seated listening and breathing techniques (designed for significantly reducing stress, more effectively managing negative emotional states, as well as developing higher levels of focus and self-awareness), followed by an extended Tibetan singing bowl & Gong Sound Meditation practice where you can simply lie back, settle into a quieter state of mind, and listen in an environment intended to help you cultivate, strengthen, and support your own inner sense of well-being.
How can a Sound Meditation practice benefit you?
• Dramatically reduces stress & emotional reactivity
• Improves your quality of sleep
• Boosts your immune system & healing response
• Develops a greater sense of self-awareness
• Increases ability to focus & concentrate
• Reduces ineffective thought patterns/limiting self-talk
• Improves memory & overall mental clarity
• Heightens creative & imaginative vision
• Decreases symptoms of depression, anxiety, PTSD, & ADHD
A combination of the highest quality sacred sound instruments available will be used, consisting of:
• 20 authenticated ancient (150 yrs+ old) Tibetan bowls
• 38" Paiste planetary Sun gong
• 28" Paiste planetary Jupiter gong

About the Instructor:
Since 2010, Jonathan De Leon has been teaching meditation with Tibetan singing bowls and gongs at various yoga studios, medical, wellness, and retreat centers to assist others toward their own personal growth and self-development. With these ancient instruments, he seeks to create richly dynamic and interactive soundscapes that provide an ideal environment from which to practice meditation and cultivate the skills necessary for maintaining one’s own personal sense of happiness, meaning, and well-being.
