Formed in 1978 by John & Helena Rogers, the band went through 4 major personnel changes before giving up in 1984. There was a pop side, and an improvisational side, but it was always fiercely original. There were big shows, and shows where nobody came, and shows where they asked us to stop playing so they could play some records and dance. And there were studio recordings, and the beginning of home recording.

Nonmodern (ft. John Massoni)-
Nonmodern is singer John Massoni’s new band featuring Liz Wick (Weather Theater) on bass, Rolf Berteig (Luna Moss, Feast) on drums, and Eva Massoni sharing vocal duties with her dad. They perform various songs from John’s past incarnations along with new songs and a few covers. Their music is a blend of 80’s post punk, 60’s psychedelic pop/rock, and 70’s glam/kraut rock, all served up with a classic non modern flair. You can find John’s music on all streaming sites with Nonmodern currently recording its first release.
