About this Event
Experience a special meditative journey through intentional listening and following the sounds of gently played chimes, singing bowls, gongs, soft percussion, the voice and whatever other instruments are meant to be heard in accompanying our inner journey. You may set your intention for peace, clarity, revelation, relaxation, reset, healing. or whatever you most need in the moment. The sound helps provide an avenue or portal into your inner knowing. Gnosis ~ As Jesus, Rumi and others have reminded us: The Answers we seek are within us. The sound helps clear the path to that place of inner knowing. Or simply come and enjoy the relaxing sounds. Soundwise created the Sanctuary of Sound in 2016 and many people have gathered here through the years for the peace, love, and community it offers.
Please note that we are starting at 6:00pm instead of 6:30 for the winter months.
Bring your own mat, blanket, pillow or cushion, whatever provides you with the most comfort, or you may use the ones provided by Soundwise. We do use an all natural sanitizing spray cleaner on all mats, cushions, chairs and blankets.
Lots of free parking right across from the front of the Liberty Place building. We are in suite 263, 2nd floor(stairs or elevator). Someone will be at the wooden doors (not the glass ones) on the front left of the building to let you in from 5:30 to 5:50. After that the doors are locked!
After the sound immersion you may stay and enjoy a cup of tea, chat with others, ask questions about any of the instruments.
