Do singing bowls ring your bell?
Do you love a good gong show?
Have you ever followed sound into a new time/space continuum?
Join us on an intimate introductory weekend to learn the basics harnessing sound to bring yourself and others into a healing state of deep relaxation. We will introduce and work with instruments and sound tools including tuning forks, crystal and bronze singing bowls, gongs and other modalities. Students will get a sense of what instruments appeal to them the most, get to test drive the instruments themselves, and learn basic concepts of how to produce their own sound mediation experience.
No prior experience is necessary, although all students are strongly encouraged to attend a sound meditation with Meg Green before attending the course. Students are invited to bring their own instruments if they like, although instruments to play will be provided. Attendance will be limited depending on the COVID-19 restrictions in place at that time.
Students should dress comfortably in layers, bring a yoga mat, meditation cushion, etc. to be comfortable sitting on the floor – we will have chairs available if you prefer -- and you may find a journal or notebook helpful.
