About this Event
Presented by Music Is Medicine, the creators of Dance Tribe: A Sober Party Experiment.
What to expect:
Step into a full-sensory sound healing and soul purpose journey designed to awaken your body, mind, and spirit - bringing you into deep relaxation, release, and rejuvenation. Float out the door with inner peace and tranquillity.
How the evening begins:
With a gentle group drop-in and an offering of practical tools on how to become your own sound healer using breath, movement, and your own vibrational hum. This is particularly important in today’s high-energy environments, giving you resources to care for your body, mind, and nervous system - no matter what life throws at you.
A visualisation process follows:
Guiding you to connect more deeply with your purpose and inner wisdom. This practice draws from years of research and experience and has proven to help participants access their inner knowing quickly and clearly, offering renewed direction and inspiration.
From there:
Participants are guided through a powerful reflection exercise around impermanence and gratitude for life in the present moment.
After a short break:
You’ll be invited into a five-minute guided movement practice to shake off stagnant energy and open the body to receive. Then, lay back into your comfy sound healing nest to relax, receive, release, and rejuvenate as the soundscape unfolds and your five senses are awakened.
Enliven all five of your senses:
Taste – Sumptuous Egyptian blue lotus tea offered to enhance connection, intuition, and relaxation, bridging the sensory journey between realms of sound and soul.
See – Soft, ambient lighting and a serene setting inviting inner visions and deep presence, alongside an invitation to see, choose, and sit with the beautiful oracle cards laid out for you.
Hear – The soothing resonance of golden Nepalese, Tibetan, and crystal bowls; live ethereal vocals by mISSkARA skilfully woven through her loop pedal; medicine drum, bells, chimes, and light language healing codes.
Smell – Sacred scents and fragranced oils offered to each person, enlivening the mind and awakening the senses, dropping you deeper into the experience and eliciting feelings of bliss, joy, and inner peace.
Touch – Golden vibration bowls gently placed on your body, sending waves of harmonic frequency through your being, enhanced by the light, whispering touch of feathers (with consent). This is always a highlight of the experience and deeply loved by participants.
The session closes with exquisite bells and chimes, gently bringing everyone back into the room with purity, presence, and embodied peace.
What's next?
After the official proceedings have concluded, you’re invited to enjoy complimentary herbal teas and a relaxed opportunity to share reflections, ground your experience, and let the evening gently integrate into your being - before floating off into the rest of your evening and an excellent night’s sleep for all.

Notice of Partial Moment Amateur Photography/Videography: There are many events held at Centre of You where no content is captured. The facilitator of this event however wishes to capture moments of this gathering for future marketing and community-sharing purposes. This will take place via their personal device captured by themselves or a representative. We recognise that being recorded can impact personal comfort and nervous system regulation and we want to honor your preferences. If you do not wish to have your image captured yet still wish to join, know that this is entirely possible at this event. Please speak with us at the door so we can honour your boundaries. If you’d like to review any footage captured at the conclusion of the event, you are most welcome to do so.
Arrival: Endeavour to arrive between 5:45pm - 6:00pm. To preserve the experience for all involved, doors will close at 6:15pm. Truly, it breaks our heart to have to turn latecomers away yet the disruption to the whole group experience by virtue of lateness does require management. We ask that you find understanding and consideration for the timebound nature of the container and make every effort to arrive on time.
Driving: Know Centre of You is on Chapel St and ample time to find a car spot is best to be factored into your plans. Park direct on Chapel St (spots unmetered after 5pm) or in Anchor Place, the open-air parking lot in the side street that runs opposite Centre of You (unmetered after 4pm).
Public transport - tram: Both the number 6 tram & 78 tram stop on the corner of High St/Chapel St. This is stop 31 on the number 6 tram (Moreland/Glen Iris) & stop 45 on the number 78 tram (North Richmond/Balaclava).
Public transport - train: Both Prahran & Windsor stations along the Sandringham Line will get you walking distance to Centre of You.
Finding Centre of You: Centre of You is nestled within the arcade that Chapel St Bazaar is in (217 Chapel St). It is up a flight of stairs with a wide landing at the half-way-point. Unfortunately, this current version of Centre of You does not have a wheelchair accessible lift. If you could use support in getting up the stairs or would like to discuss ways to make your experience at Centre of You more comfortable, please reach out via [email protected] or via DM over on Centre of You Instagram.
Accessibility: At COY we aim to ensure our community and events are inclusive and accessible while alongside upholding the needs and responsibilities of our business and the businesses of our collaborating facilitators. Should you be in a time of financial challenge and unable to pay the full ticket price comfortably, please reach out via [email protected] or via DM over on Centre of You Instagram
