Contemporary human beings seem to be empty. Hollow inside, like a mine greedily excavated down to its very core. Immersed in a frantic pace of life, we have lost the cornerstones of our existence, and we move forward trying to create new paradigms, proceeding by trial and error. Guided only by hidden echoes, we receive distorted and conflicting signals from the depths of our souls. We are alive, but disoriented. Everyday life allows us less and less to get in touch with our identity, with the depth of our desires, with the precise contours of what we want to give to the world. Even on the rare occasions when we manage to trace a path towards ourselves, we find ourselves frightened, terrified by the state of degradation in which we find our being, so far from the expectations of blind glory that we had. In other cases, the most uncontaminated among us remain motionless, unable to decipher what is being said to us in a language unknown to us, so ancient and powerful. So we prefer to flee, protecting our eyes with our hands. Every now and then, however, paths appear. One of these is music. A true, authentic investigation of the self, without filters or inhibitions of any kind. Music manages to offer all this to both those who create it and those who receive it.
Here we propose a journey, composed entirely of pieces that would also constitute a self- contained exploration on their own. Together, they accompany the passenger from beginning to end on a path within consciousness, passing through its most unknown and remote regions. And even if in some places, desolate lands beyond unknown abysses, we find a darkness without form or dimension, the end of the journey, which we offer to you today, is testimony that there are still lands where we can find an unexpected, profound, and ancestral life.
