Therapeutic Sound Bath Meditation
Sound and vibration have been found to revitalize the body and mind, release stagnant energy and traumas, repair and balance the nervous system, empty the subconscious mind and clear energy blocks or mind loops known as samsara’s. The theme of this workshop will be 'The Silver Cord' - A multidimensional healing experience through a special sound journey meditation focused to bring a deeper awareness of the astral realms and energetic body.'The silver cord' is a concept found in various spiritual traditions and metaphysical studies, representing the link between a person's physical body and their astral or spiritual body. This workshop is intended to heal on physical, emotional and spiritual levels. This is done through healing Sound, Intention, Energy Healing, Reiki energy and Meditation processes. This workshop will be conducted while you are lying down.
The primary instruments used will be the gong, voice, chimes, bowls and flute.
Event tickets: $40
Please bring anything you may need to be comfortable lying down for an hour and a half, such as your mat, blanket or anything else that makes you comfortable. Soul of Yoga does have some loaner props available but it's always nice to bring your own.
Mark Hartman is a full time photographer and has been a spiritual seeker his entire life. He was first introduced to yoga in highschool and later became a certified Kundalini teacher in 2005. Since then he has taught for nearly 20 years mostly in the NYC area at various studios and Rikers Island Pr*son. As a teacher, Mark is a devoted student first. He loves to share the passion for the Kundalini teachings, healing and his experience through teaching. His classes are focused on the energetics of yoga, breath work, sound and chanting. He is known for his gong playing and meditative classes. Mark encourages his students to take a deep dive into themselves and believes the one you seek is yourself.
