This is the Earth House a 200-seat theatre – lit by lamp glow and fire-light.
Here, you are invited to gather together, seated on a wooden bench or lying on the earthy floor, breathing together, under an earth roof held up by 21 huge oak tree trunks. The acoustics of this venue add powerful qualities to the sound.
Here, we prepare for a powerful evening of sound and visioning by listening to the ancient sounds of Sika's instruments - and be transported through dimensions to reconnect and reconvene with the truth of our being.
Sika will play intuitively, sensing into the energy of the space, using his collection of natural instruments, including: didjeridoo, drums, native flutes, rattles, leaves, stones, shells, bones and Māori Taonga Puoro.
Sika’s voice and breath also play a vital role in this powerful, shamanic exploration. His intention has always been to enable others to journey inward, to 'see' themselves as part of nature. Sika sound journeys are not just about relaxation, he sometimes plays sounds that are haunting, deeply melancholy or uncomfortable.
"This is all part of the experience," says Sika.
"It takes courage to look deeply into our fears and feelings, but that path can be very healing.”
The sonic exploration features didgeridoos, frame drum, Taos drum, flutes, shells, stones, leaves, voice and orchestral elements. All orchestrated into a powerful experience like a soundtrack crafted to go with your life movie.
An epic adventure deep inside yourself to lands that only exist inner magical realms. Journey on the waves of sound played live by Sika and be carried into worlds within worlds within.
Sika creates a safe space for you to relax deeply and connect with inner guidance.
This evening Sound Journey begins and ends with a short guided visualisation, to carry you into the dream.
There will be two journeys with an interval.
For your comfort, please bring a yoga mat, cushion or foldable chair, warm clothes and a blanket. Also a refillable water container and lidded tea cup.

Evening Sound Journey runs from 7.30pm - 9.30pm
Doors open at 7.00pm for a prompt start at 7.30.
This huge, incredible space will be the scene for a whole evening of Sound Journeying with Sika. Amidst this ancient Earth House, by the side of the sacred hearth, we shall dream and vision to sounds, in a timeless journey. Profound sound journey magic.
