Led by Sarah Spearin, a Yoga and Sound Healing Practitioner. This class is offered on the 1st Tuesday of the month and designed for all Mental Health Practitioners - social workers, therapists, counselors, even students who are still completing their studies or rotations are welcome. This line of work is incredibly valuable and deserving of a sound healing session designed for deep relaxation and restoration.Attendees will be laying down. All props provided. The session begins with a brief introduction to sound healing, focus and/or intention. Through the immersion of deeply relaxing vibrational sounds, your brain waves will drop from beta, alpha to theta that will help you to drop into a deeply relaxed state, but without falling asleep. At the very least, sound healing will offer you profound relaxation. At best, you will have the opportunity to release chronic stress, balance your autonomic nervous system by soothing your nerves, and release suppressed or repressed emotions. Ultimately, you will be guided back to your true nature. A place where you experience unconditional love, peace and lasting happiness. All that is required is for each person to listen and surrender.
