Explore the power of sound and how to effectively incorporate it into your bodywork practice. Sound is increasingly used in healing and environments for its ability to shift physical, mental and emotional patterns. It helps relax and prepare clients for the hands-on work. It can be used to release tight tissue and trigger points, for myofascial release and to relieve pain. This two-day workshop includes learning about properties of sound and its effect on the body; the tools and intervals that are most effective for body workers; protocols for use; and includes time to practice using the sound tools on one another. We work with specific tuning fork intervals as well as Tibetan metal singing bowls. All the tools will be available for use in class as well as purchase.
