60 minute immersion in an intuitive soundscape with Gong and other sound techniques (crystal singing bowls, chimes, Sanskrit mantra). It is said these artifacts produce the whole sounds of the Universe, and through this precise resonance heal wherever it is needed.
A "Sound Bath" invites you to rest your body and receive sounds & silences. Through feeling these vibrations, you are invited to experience deep states of stillness and connection.
Effortlessly unfurl into this special opportunity for the unfoldment of awarenesses within and without.
Suitable for beginners, no previous study is necessary to participate.
Yoga mat + bolster + 2 blankets + eye pillow are provided. You are welcome and encouraged to bring your own props (i.e. mat, extra blanket, pillow) for comfort while sitting or lying on the floor for the hour, and dress in warm layers for accommodating changes in body temperature.
*If you have any aversion to loud sounds, you may consider using ear plugs. Gong may be sung at high intensity/volume for a duration of the meditation.
Doors open 15min prior to start, and close promtly at start time. Non-transferrable.
There is plenty of parking avaialble on site.
Sandhi approaches the art of Sound Meditation and Ceremony as a yoga student (1993) & Certified Teacher of Yoga (2002) through multiple disciplines in compliment to a lifetime of musical study and as a professional multi-media artist (BFA 2004) of installation & interference (MLIS 2012).
