Join Catherine Schmidt from Yoga Zen for a unique, immersive experience at the Planetarium in the Grand Rapids Public Museum. This is a sound bath like no other!Under the 50-foot domed ceiling of the planetarium, we’ll spend time with sound from meditative instruments while a custom-made projection created by visual artist, Emily Hromi, is played overhead on the planetarium screen.
The purpose of a sound bath is relaxation; the sound waves affect the smallest structures of the body and help to rebalance and recalibrate all systems in the body.
Please be aware that the visual projection may contain bright lights or dizzying visuals.
Appropriate for all, 18 years and older. Dress in comfy clothes and bring pillows, blankets, and other relaxation aids.
Spots are limited and registration required. Tickets are non refundable.
$40
$35 for Yoga Zen members
