A meditative healing journey with gongs, singing bowls, chimes & grounding percussion. Restorative, deeply relaxing & transformational
About this Event

A sound bath is an immersive sound experience. Once you are lying down and comfortable, you will be bathed in sound and vibration, and taken on a meditative healing journey using gongs, singing bowls, chimes, percussion and occasional harp. All sound is made with a heart centred intention for your highest good, in honour of your highest self.

Sound baths are great if you find it difficult to relax and let go. The sound gives your mind something to focus on and become absorbed in. The myriad vibrations can help your body release tension and your energetic system to shift imbalances and dissonant patterns. Everyone's experience is unique - from deep relaxation and rest to profound journeys into otherworldly realms of the imagination. Sound can help us look after our inner world, aid our physical healing and health and balance our energetic system.

Please bring anything you need to be comfortable. I suggest a yoga mat (or a camping mat is great!), blanket, pillow, bolster, teddy bear (optional). Please arrive 10 minutes before to get yourself settled.

I rarely play the gongs loudly and so most people find the experience relaxing. However, the complex sounds of the larger symphonic gongs can be unusual and challenging for those who are very sensitive or vulnerable. For this reason soundbaths are not recommended for:

  • Women in the first trimester of pregnancy
  • Children under the age of thirteen
  • Those experiencing extreme mental health problems
  • If you have a metal implant or a pacemaker
  • Those affected by sound induced epilepsy

Please get in touch if you'd like any more advice or information
