Hypno-Reiki Sound Bath – Frequently Asked Questions
What do I need to bring and what do I wear?
A yoga mat, warm socks, blanket, pillow, and eye masks are useful. We will have a limited number of spares. Having some water with you is useful, although there is access to drinking water in the venue. It is important to stay hydrated.
Do I need to have experience with Reiki, sound healing, or hypnosis?
Not at all. Whether it’s your first time or you’re familiar with these modalities, the session is designed to meet you where you are. You simply need to be open to the experience.
What happens during the session?
You’ll lie down comfortably while the facilitators guides you through a gentle hypnotic meditation. During this, sound instruments (crystal bowls, chimes) create a vibrational soundscape, and Reiki energy is intuitively directed to support your healing process.
Is it safe for everyone?
Generally, yes. If you are sensitive to sound, pregnant, have epilepsy, please inform the facilitator in advance and bring a doctor's note.
Over 14 year olds with parent or legal guardians can attend.
What does it feel like?
Everyone’s experience is unique. You may feel tingling, warmth, emotional shifts, or simply deep calm. Some drift into a light sleep or meditative state—this is perfectly normal and beneficial.
Can I come with someone else?
Absolutely. Attending with a friend, partner, or family member can be a lovely shared experience. Just be sure to book in advance if space is limited
