THE EVENT
Embark on a journey through breath, conscious awareness, tone, vibration and space in a Sound Bath sound therapy session. The resonant structure of sound patterns provide an opportunity for the logical mind to recede and the brain to shift into deeper states of thought, relaxation, and healing.
THE HOSTS
Pati Pellerito, BCTMB, CSH, is a therapist and sound artist. She is passionate about the intersection of healing and art. In individual sessions, with small groups, and in classes and workshops, her unique work draws upon therapeutic body work, Eastern philosophies of wellness, shamanic studies, ancient wisdom teachings, and the science of sound and vibrational medicine to create a safe and sacred space for inner peace and joy. James Ibur is a multi-disciplinary visual artist, professor, and songwriter, as well as frontman for the St. Louis rock alt-rock band Flying House. His heartfelt, guitar-driven style pulls influences from blues, rock, folk, and country to create a sound all his own.
THE SPACE
The WEvent Space is a distinctive venue located in the heart of the Tower Grove South neighborhood, set within a beautifully restored church. Embracing the spirit of its historic roots, the space provides a laid-back, welcoming setting for a wide array of local live acts. Central to its mission is the WEConcert Series—an ongoing effort to reestablish the former church as a vibrant hub and gathering place for the community.
