Calling all weirdos! Wanna get bowled?Join the Haus of Misfit, Kate Fagervik (she/her) and her crystal singing bowls on Wednesday February 19, 2025 from 6-7:30pm to make winter magic in the Bruce Dunn Room at Kelson Hall in Kamloops, BC.
Students are invited to become their coziest selves, often arriving in comfy clothing, carrying all the soft things, a water bottle, journal, and anything else to help feel settled. Using what they bring to feel comfortable they are invited to close their eyes and listen as sounds from crystal singing bowls, a drum, a rattle and chimes wash through them.
Sound baths are open for all and are beginner friendly. $35 (+GST) per sound bather. Please pre-register as space is limited.
Accessibility Info:
Kelson Hall has two main doors, the main door has a small set of stairs. The west door has access to the elevator which can take you to the first floor.
Paid parking is available on the street as well as the parking lot adjacent to the building.
Haus of Misfit lives and lurks on the ancestral, unceded and unsurrendered lands of the Tk'emlúps te Secwépemc, and recognizes the devastating impacts of colonialism on Indigenous cultures, traditions, ceremonies, and sovereignty.
