Sound Bath and Blue Lotus Tea Ceremony

Kelsey, Vanessa, Mathew, and James will guide you through a deeply immersive, full body listening experience that uses a variety of instruments, hands on reiki and aromatherapy, as well as a specific herbal tea to invite a gentle yet powerful therapeutic and restorative process to your mind, body and spirit.
Please arrive about 15-30 minutes ahead of the 7pm start time to settle into the space. Smoke Cleansing starts at 6:30p.

Come as you are, all ages and persons are welcome.

Our evening begins with setting a safe container. Then we invite each person to share their intention and a heart share about their journey and where they are growing. Next, we move into the Blue Lotus Tea portion of our ceremony, where we will share the rich euphoric history of Blue Lotus and offer you a warm cup to enjoy before getting comfortable in a laying down position. (For those needing additional physical accommodations Sage and Sol has cushioned/recliners) We will begin the Sound Bath with a grounding meditation that leads to a symphony of sound. During the meditation and sound healing Kelsey, Vanessa, Matthew, and James will be sending distance Reiki into the container, as well as offering hands on Reiki for those who feel called. Our time together will finish with a final group share about your heart opening and healing experience.

What is Blue Lotus Tea?

Blue Lotus Tea has been used for thousands of years by many cultures, popularly Egyptians. During our ceremony we utilize a light brew for its medicinal properties of stimulating a dream/journey state, relaxation, enhancing one’s mood/reduces anxiety, a sleep aid, pain relief, antioxidants/detoxification, promotion of healthy digestion, mental clarity, skin health, enhanced libido, and heart health.
What is a Sound Bath?
Sound baths are a symphony of instruments that activate all your senses. For centuries music has been used as a form of meditation and experiencing altered states of consciousness. The vibration and rhythm (Cymatics) of the instruments work directly with our nervous systems and begins a process of relaxation and restoration.

What is Reiki?
The word “Reiki” comes from the Japanese words “rei” (universal) and “ki” (life energy). Reiki is a type of energy modality that promotes the one’s own healing responses. Energy healing targets the energy fields around and within the body to assist in moving stagnate energy where it can manifest as physical injury, emotional pain, unresolved trauma, and more. Reiki aims to help the flow of energy and remove blocks in a similar way to acupuncture or acupressure. Improving the flow of energy around the body can enable relaxation, reduce pain, speed healing, and reduce other symptoms of illness, as well as assist in allowing those scary next steps of our growth journey to become more emotionally accessible.

Post-ceremony integration:

After the ceremony it is suggested to take it easy. Please take your time coming back into an alert and grounded state before driving home. After spending time activating the parasympathetic nervous system, detoxification and digestion may increase. It’s best to support these processes with plenty of extra hydration in the following days as well as activities that nurture the body and soul. If you experience strong processing or emotional release during or after the ceremony, any practices you connect with for spiritual, emotional, or physical health may be supportive. Consider consulting with one of the facilitators, or another wellness professional such as a therapist, integration coach, energy worker, or other specialist if called. After ceremony it is common for things in one’s life to shift, please reach out via email/call/text to any one of us for assistance along your journey. We are here to empower.

This is a Sacred Container facilitated by professionals. All measures will be taken to ensure our container is whole and honored. Persons are asked to arrive being free of highly inebriating substances including alcohol and anything else that would compromise the container. If you have questions, please reach out!

A mug of steeped Blue Lotus tea will be offered to every participant. If you are curious with questions and choose to participate in drinking this ceremonial beverage, feel free to check with your physician if need be.

This experience may induce light hypnosis and/or a trance-like state that allows you to access the subconscious mind, referred to by us, as your sacred garden. While on these journeys it is common to explore various parts of ourselves, including the light and shadow. By attending this sound bath, you are consenting to this type of journey.
