Participate in the Great Backyard Bird Count - GBBC (Annual Global Bird Survey) along with experts learn how cool it is to be with Nature amidst pristine surroundings of a natural farm that has recorded population of 112 different species of birds. Birding sessions will be conducted during early mornings and evenings on both days (Saturday and Sunday)
While not watching for birds indulge in self-love caring yourself with range of natural herbs. Learn to live healthy using un-adulterated chemical-free produce obtained straight from nature.
Jump into a natural pond for a refreshing swim using life jackets (if required). Explore the wild terrain while on a hike and experience the magic of forest bathing.
Indulge in simple but healthy food prepared using local and forgotten ingredients.
Where is the event being held :
Natural surroundings of Nature Inspires - Chiguru Ecospace(NICE) a certified organic farm and a Biodiversity Education Centre located at about 35 kms away from Bangalore off Magadi Main Road near TGHalli Reservoir.
Kindly note : NICE is a working farm and certainly NOT A RESORT. Facilities are basic but good enough to create a lasting positive experience amidst nature.
NICE has clean and decent common bathrooms and toilets (western) for visitors
How do we get to the venue :
By Own Transport - by searching for Nature Inspires - Chiguru Ecospace for directions
By Public Transport - Regular BMTC buses ply between KR Market and Magadi. You need to get-off at TG Halli bus stop which is 2 kms away from the venue. Last mile pickup can be arranged at extra cost.
Who is the event for :
Anyone between 3 to 70 years of age with an interest in living a life close to nature observing birds trees water mountain farming and basically willing to get dirty with soil :)
What kind of accommodation are provided if we are staying overnight :
NICE is known for camping and we do not have any rooms. Accommodation will be within tents (2 or 3 persons types) put-up at any location of visitor's choice within the farm.

What are the rules of the place :
NICE is a community space working towards creating positive experiences of living close to nature. Couples and Families with kids are welcome.
Smoking Cigarettes and consumption of alcohol is strictly prohibited.
NICE is known as a pioneer in AgriTourism within Karnataka. In order to enrich the experience Guests are expected to join-in and volunteer during any of the day's activities along with the host. Visit to NICE is more of an hands-on experiential category
