Soulcollage - An Introductory Playshop
Facilitated by Lisa Bamforth
SoulCollage was developed by the late Seena B. Frost, a long-time psychotherapy clinician and practitioner based in California. Over time and through her practise, she brought together influences from various sources including C.G. Jung, to create a methodology used around the world today.
In this workshop Lisa will be guiding us through the process of making our own Soulcollage cards.
Lisa writes:
“SoulCollage® is deceptively simple, yet the insights and gifts that SoulCollage facilitate are a constant joy.
As you craft each card with care and attention, your relationship with yourself, your community, and the internal and external archetypal energies that influence you are strengthened.
SoulCollage is about relationships. It’s a celebration of your unique parts, even the shadowed ones. It’s a way to create and strengthen connections with yourself and others. It can be done alone or with a group using the simplest materials, images from magazines, glue, scissors, and cardboard. It can be used as a fun hobby, or therapeutically as a creative and deep exploration of the psyche.
But best of all, the magic of SoulCollage® will always surprise you in the nicest possible way.”
In this hands-on workshop you will:
Create, Explore, Play & Nurture your intuition and creative expression
Explore & celebrate your uniqueness
Discover hidden aspects that surprise & delight
Share in circle with like-minded soul explorers.
Absolutely no artistic skill required.
All materials will be supplied.
**Bring a plate to share for tea and lunch**
Facilitator | Lisa Bamforth
Discovering SoulCollage in 2017, Lisa was immediately captivated by it. She undertook the Facilitator training shortly after and has been using it as a personal tool, and sharing it ever since.
Lisa continues to love the gentle way SoulCollage reveals aspects of the self, including the shadowed parts. The opportunity this provides to deepen the relationship with one’s self, the local or broader community, is a constant surprise and joy.
Lisa is a Social Worker with a love of creative and somatic therapies. Curious to know more about Jung, Lisa found ‘This Jungian Life’ podcast in 2019 and thirstily drank in those rich conversations. Her relationship with Jung is still embryonic but constantly deepening and growing. Lisa is currently on the committee as the treasurer of the C. G. Society of Queensland.
