Sue and Jo are experienced musicians and practitioners, and work in harmony to create musical notes, tones, percussive textures and natural sounds in the moment to weave an improvised, nourishing soundscape.
Sue’s work as a professional and intuitive percussionist in jazz, blues and folk traditions draws on a practice of mindful sensitivity. She has an expert understanding of "what is required right now" through her experiences within mental health services, counselling, Buddhist practice, shamanic journeying and deep exploration into human healing processes.
Jo’s holistic expertise has been so influenced by the deeply meditative and restorative effects of facilitated sound journeying that she has been guided over recent years to craft several of her own healing instruments. A lifetime’s experience of musicianship and a deep love and respect for the power of sound has brought her to this current path of allowing the instruments to play through her for personal healing and the well-being of others.
