About this Event
This historic walking tour of the Soulard neighborhood will take tour attendees through the alleys of the neighborhood, exploring the history of different buildings in the alley, such as the alley houses and carriage houses that can be found throughout the neighborhood. Also included will be a look at the rear portions of many homes in the neighborhood, revealing additions to the buildings along the front facades. This tour showcases a side of Soulard not typically seen by visitors to the neighborhood. The tour will last roughly 2-3 hour, and will begin at the Soulard Market by the Carroll Street entrance. Tours typically start 5-10 minutes after the advertised time to ensure that all guests are present. Tour tickets sold within 24 hours of the event will have same day pricing, which is $10 more than the advanced sale price. All tickets are non refundable, but can be used on any future tour if the event is missed.
