I’m Dan, also known as The Jazz Shepherd on YouTube and in coffee shops. My new DJ alias is the Soul Shepherd, reflecting my mission to guide people’s ears and souls through music’s healing power.
Formerly DJ Dan Verve in the Twin Cities, I’ve played countless residencies and private parties. Music shepherds us; it inspires, comforts, delights, and reveals truths that are hard to find elsewhere. It has fueled my creativity and joy throughout my life.
As a lifelong musician and DJ, I focus on song selection and mood setting rather than fixed playlists.
