10:00AM: Diving in: Ableton group lesson (how to record audio & program beats)

1PM: Break out group 1 (recording on your own)
1PM: Break out group 2 (groupwork: getting musical )
3PM: Movement break & snacks
4PM: Collaborative music making or work on your own

7PM: Jam and listening party

Aaron Handford is DJ and music producer of organic electronica, deep house & downtempo bass whose festival credits include Burning Man, Pachena Bay, Valhalla Fest, Burn In The Forest, Otherworld, & SubLunar and releases on the Visionary Shamanics
and Lump Records label.
A veteran of music production retreats, Aaron has taken all the wisdom from his various trainings and distilled it into a one day offering for beginner music producers to dive into the beautiful world of music production.
He enjoys collaborating with vocalists and instrumentalists to co-create musical journeys. His artistic goal is to forge connections between the spheres of deep house, downtempo global bass music, jazz, and world rhythms.
About our venue:
Nestled on 10 acres in the south end of Quadra Island, our centre is the perfect place to explore your creativity surrounded
by nature. Numerous trails and access to the beach offer bountiful sources of inspiration.
