MONTHLY ART CLASSES for ADULTS in CORNWALL, ON!

Join Rose, of the Dreaming Heart Art Studio, on the fourth Wednesday of each month at the Best Western in Cornwall ON for a creative evening of BEGINNER-FRIENDLY, expressive art-making!
March features the Soul Sisters Art Workshop "FLOWER YARN PAINTING" and is for ladies only!(Please see below for more on Soul Sisters classes)
We'll paint an expressive and colourful watercolour background on a 12" x 16" canvas, and create lovely yarn blooms adorned with pretty things, like beads and buttons.
Rose will guide everyone in sketching and painting their preliminary background and will provide a quick intro into making yarn blooms.
Then we'll each guide our own creative process as we continue to design our own one-of-a-kind bouquets.
This project is all about choosing colours that make us happy, channeling our inner child, and creating art for the joy of it!
You are welcome to bring your own yarn and special buttons to add to your art piece.
*Rose will provide lots of inspiration images and detailed instructional hand-outs to help guide the process.

Soul Sister's art classes are all about getting in touch with our creative intuition, expressing ourselves, and having fun!
These workshops are always BEGINNER-FRIENDLY.
You do NOT require any previous art experience...just a desire to cultivate creative self-love.
Rose will introduce the project and will provide hand-outs, occasional tips, and lots of sample pieces and images to inspire you... but please note that this is NOT a step-by-step class.
Instruction is very gently-led with a focus on introspective, self-guided art-making.

*Event will take place in the "Red Room."
*Ticket fee is for the Paint Night activity only. Venue purchases like beverages and food are sold seperately and will be available throughout the evening.
*If you'd like to enjoy a meal before painting, please call the Hops & Barley Restaurant (located in the Best Western) at (613) 932-0451 to reserve a table. Please let them know you are attending the Paint Night.
*All art materials are included, except for aprons. Please wear art-friendly clothes!
*Instruction is adult-focused. Ladies 15+ yrs. are welcome to attend with an adult.
*NO DROP-INS PLEASE. PRE-REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. SPOTS ARE LIMITED.
REFUND POLICY:
Ticket Fees are *NON-REFUNDABLE and must be paid in full upon registration. Refunds will NOT be issued for non-attendance (including non-attendance due to illness) nor for late arrivals.
*If the Studio cancels a Public Paint Day/Night you will be issued a full refund.
​If you are unable to attend your Public Paint Day/Night you are welcome to gift your ticket to someone else. Alternatively, you are welcome to request a Paint Day/Night credit (valued at the same cost as the missed Public Paint Day/Night) so long as you provide a minimum of 14 day's notice via email. Paint Day/Night credit will NOT be issued when less than 14 day's notice is given.
