MONTHLY ART CLASSES for ADULTS in KEMPTVILLE, ON!🎨 🌙 🌟
Join Rose, of the Dreaming Heart Art Studio at the Boathouse Cafe in Kemptville ON for a creative evening of BEGINNER-FRIENDLY, expressive art-making!
Classes are held monthly and alternate between Paint Night Style classes and Soul Sisters Art Workshops (mixed media art classes for women).
October's class features the Soul Sisters Art Workshop "SUGAR SKULL PAINTING."
We'll get in the Halloween spirit as we paint colour and pattern-filled mixed media Sugar Skulls on a 12" x 16" canvas.
We'll adorn our boo-tifully creepy craniums with pretty things like glittery gems, paper flowers, acrylic paint markers, and glitter glue.
Rose will provide everyone with a pre-traced template, an instructional hand-out, lots of inspiration images, and tips here and there... however this is primarily a self-led art activity!
All art materials will be provided; however you are welcome to bring your own special gems, buttons, etc. to add to your art piece.
$49 + HST per participant

**PLEASE READ- Soul Sister's art classes are always BEGINNER-FRIENDLY, with a focus on having fun and enjoying the creative process!
You do NOT require any previous art experience.
You simply have to be a woman who wants to cultivate more self-love, self-awareness, and fun in her life.
Rose will introduce the project and will provide hand-outs, occasional tips, and lots of sample pieces and images to inspire you... but please note that this is NOT a step-by-step class.
Instruction is very gently-led with a focus on introspective, self-guided art-making.

*Ticket fee is for the Paint Night activity only. Venue purchases like food and beverages are sold separately. Drinks, snacks, desserts, and a couple of light meal options will be available for purchase throughout the evening; however, if you’d like to enjoy a meal before painting, please call the Boathouse Cafe at (343) 306-0383 to reserve a table for as early as 5:15 p.m.
*All art materials are included, except for aprons. Please wear art-friendly clothes!
*Instruction is adult-focused. Teens 16+ yrs. are welcome to attend with an adult.
