Premiere and Q&A for the thriller-comedy short, Soul Search. Soul Search follows the story of playboy, Walt, when he tries to meet up with Kim for a Netflix and Chill after swiping right on a dating app, but things don’t go as he planned. This is the directorial debut for Charlotte native Sidney Wadsworth, the first leading role for Malachi John Paige, and introducing Journey Millsaps and Mardochee Masse.

Sidney Wadsworth is a multidisciplinary artist whose mediums include collage, dance, acting, and film. At the beginning of her filmmaking career she focused on music videos and has now began her venture into the independent narrative film making space with her first short film, Soul Search, a thriller-comedy. After this celebratory premiere her next project will be another short, a thriller-comedy-fantasy, that will also be shot in Charlotte, NC. Her goal is to continue making shorts and follow up with feature films and move into the greater Hollywood machine for filmmaking while also continuing to produce independent films.
