Northside Records plan to honour the true soul of Fitzroy which has so many flavours, continuing on from the beautiful Sunday arvo jazz band THE PUNTERS into the sounds of jazz which are so dear in the heart of Fitzroy.
From the Black Cat’s start in ’83 to Mario’s and then the Night Cat, The Rainbow, Uptown, Rooks and more, jazz is deep in Fitzroy. The evenings DJs will begin wth jazz and then take a trip and the end result is always soul. Records are real but sound unreal.
