- Balance and harmony will be restored with rejuvenating yoga, time spent in nature, mind + heart opening meditation and expanding breath awareness.

Contemplative periods of silence are built into our retreat to quiet the mind, settle the emotions, decompress the nervous system, heighten the senses and increase clarity and connection to source energy.

The spacious 7-bedroom, 9-bed Forest Homestead is located on 100 acres, with a sunny deck overlooking a the mountains. There are 4 manicured tent sites, a two-bedroom studio space for couples, and an upstairs for individuals to find comfort and tranquility.

ABOUT THE FACILITY
Enjoy an unforgettable experience, rejuvenating with friends and family in nature, while just 10 minutes from historic Nevada City's shops and restaurants. The spacious 7-bedroom, 9-bed Forest Homestead is located on 100 acres, with a sunny deck overlooking a the mountains. There are 4 manicured tent sites, a two-bedroom studio space for couples, and an upstairs for individuals to find comfort and tranquility.
Guests can enjoy a 15-mile private network of beautiful hiking & mountain biking trails and a creek with cascading waterfalls in winter & spring, just a 5-minute drive from the south yuba state park and yuba river swimming holes.
The 3,500 sf homestead offers privacy and outdoor beauty for guests seeking time in nature, and our local equestrian expert will guide guests on horseback adventure before retiring back at the house for an optional massage.

The downstairs, accessible through the kitchen and also by driving directly to the back entry, includes two sunny bedrooms, an additional kitchen, another spacious living room lined with sugar pine from the land and a wood stove for cozy nights. Stuido rooms share a full bathroom fit with clawfoot tub, shower, toilet & sink.
