Sou Sou! Saturdays is relaunching with a summer series at Harlem Art Park beginning in July and running through September.
About this Event

CCCADI is back in person with the relaunch of our Sou Sou! Saturdays at Harlem Art Park. This special edition of Sou Sou! Saturdays will run as a summer series from July through September with workshops and activities that will allow people of all ages from our community to continue the African Diasporic traditions of collective growth, mindfulness, celebration, and creativity.

Sou Sou! Saturdays is a CCCADI program that was inspired by the cooperative economic practices known throughout the African Diaspora by such names as "Colecta”, "Box Hand", "San", "Partna", or "Sou-Sou". This program takes these financial resource-sharing traditions and reinterprets them as an exchange of cultural resources between various communities within the Diaspora.

The Sou Sou! Saturday schedule below outlines the various workshops being offered. Registration does not guarantee a reserved spot for any workshops. Admittance is on a first come first serve basis.

*Please note, there is limited capacity for each workshop. Allow ample time for check in which will begin at 10:30 AM.

All events are subject to change. In the event of inclement weather, registrants will be emailed about postponement or cancellations.
