About this Event

“Music is the language of the spirit."

Holding concerts and music festivals is a common way to bring people together.

Sorna: Voice of Traditional Persian Music, is going to be the first Traditional Persian Music concert in London. Persian music has a history of more than 5000 years. The group consists of three performers. Pieces are from repertoire of Persian Classical Music, arranged by master Ehsan Estiri, an expert in Persian musical instruments, including, Do tar, Se tar, Kamancheh, and Tonbak (Percussion). The vocalist is Saba Hakimpour with more than ten years of experience in Traditional Persian Singing (Radif). Our third performer is Shahriar Siavash on Tonbak (Percussion).
