Sophie Labelle at Keele U

Sophie Labelle, the first openly French-Canadian author to have her books banned in Texas, is back in the UK for a tour of the Midlands. We will be hosting her at Keele University for a special evening, during which she will talk about her art, her activism and her unique experience of being raised by two cisgendered parents.

Books and posters will be available to be signed by the artist at the end. You can also reserve your copy of her book "The Best of Assigned Male" while booking your ticket.

Tickets are pay-what-you-can (suggested price : £10) and will entirely go towards Sophie's travel expenses and making sure we have the personal info of any transphobe who feels like showing up.

The exact location of the event within the university will be disclosed to ticket-bearers a few days before the date for additional safety.
