Moses Sparks:

Moses was an established and in-demand professional photographer in Los Angeles for more than 20 years with clients in most of the Motion Picture and TV studios, major magazines, and a “who’s who” of Fortune 500 companies. March of 2020 would see all of that work come to a screeching halt as the global pandemic brought the world to a standstill.

A chance encounter with a friend during this time would prove to be a turning point in his life and career. His friend owned a super telephoto zoom lens that worked with his Sony cameras and he offered to loan it to him to bring along on the daily hikes he had begun doing. He had never photographed wildlife before, but quickly discovered he enjoyed it immensely, and was pretty good at it. As he shared the images on social media sites, he was surprised by the way they seemed to resonate with people, and the overwhelming encouragement and positive feedback he received. Opportunities began to appear in unexpected ways. A project team that included members of the National Park Service approached him about participating in an effort to photograph some of Hawaii’s most endangered birds, the goal being to raise awareness of their plight, and funds to help save them.

Dylan Leonard:

Dylan Leonard is a documentary and commercial filmmaker whose path began nearly a decade ago after a career-ending basketball injury. Trading the court for a camera, he traveled the world—from Turkey to Colombia and many more countries—capturing untold stories and discovering film’s power to build empathy and shift perspectives. Living with Type 1 Diabetes, Dylan’s own challenges fuel his belief that every voice matters. His work, rooted in authenticity, compassion, and purpose, advocates for the misunderstood and connects people through honest, impactful storytelling.
