Sonoma County Coastal Hills Emergency Radio Communication Training

Welcome! The purpose of this training is to educate community members on using two-way radios for emergency communications when all else fails. Additionally, each participating household will receive a free programmed radio! We cover the basic principles of radio use, including the physical components, radio etiquette, emergency communication, licensing, and organizing your community. By the end of the training, you will have an additional form of communication to better prepare for future emergencies.
