Resident ¡Sonido Sabroso! DJ Neil Smith aka Señor Smith will be accompanied on the decks by Colombia’s Julian Gomez who hosts his very special night El Melting Pot regularly here in Brighton and they’ll be keeping the dance floor busy all night long! 💃🏾🪩🕺🏻

“Founded in February 2025, Las Chanchas emerged with a clear purpose: to challenge convention and revitalize ‘chicha’ music with a new surge of energy. Through their unconventional lineup and confident artistic direction, they offer a
contemporary interpretation of the hypnotic tropical cumbia that originated in the Amazon Rainforest.
In a remarkably short time, the group has introduced UK audiences to a vivid reimagining of Peru’s dynamic 1960s–1970s sound, performing at notable venues including Mount Pleasant Eco Park, Grow Hackney, The Vauxhall Garden and the
Markfield Road Festival, among many others.
The band is now preparing for the release of their debut album, accompanied by a UK tour in summer 2026. With a rapidly expanding fanbase, Las Chanchas remain fully committed to advancing their musical journey wherever it may lead.”

⚡️All evening live show attendees must be 18 years +.
⚡️The Hope & Ruin runs a 'safe space' policy and any form of discrimination towards its staff and customers will not be tolerated.
⚡️Access: There is one step to get into the building via the main entrance and two steps to down to gain access to the main bar on the ground floor. The main 'live room' is on the first floor via a staircase, however, access maybe possible via the rear of the building if agreed prior to arrival by the venue and promoter.
